The best Catfish baits
Anytime is a great time to start catfishing, either channel cats to flatheads. Catfish also re-adjusting to the weather change and they are very hungry. Catfish are oppritunistic eaters and they will eat just about anything, but listed below are my goto baits when I go catfishing.
1. Chicken Liver
2. Chicken breast soaked in red kool-aid powder
3. Hotdogs soaked in red kool-aid powder
4. Dough-balls
5. Fresh cut bluegill heads
6. Frozen skip jack
7. Shad
8. Creek Chubs
9. Night Crawlers
10. Caterpillars
11. Crickets
Do understand that Channel, Blue, Flathead catfish have very different tastes. Channel catfish are small scavengers, Blue catfish are large food scavengers and Flatheads prefer live bait.
